How to configure internet explorer the same for all applications and/or windows. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I will like to setup windows(applications) as how internet explorer is setup.

I am hoping someone can help me figure out what is different then how to configure it for other browsers and windows(applications).

I am not sure what can make the difference maybe it is proxy, winhttp, http or wininet.

I used netsh to check winhttp and http.
show the same at cmd for system 32 and sysWOW64
netsh winhttp show proxy - shows Direct access <no proxy server>

Is it possible system 32 and syswow64 is config different?

checked internet options proxy none thing.

How to make applications use winhttp library, wininet library or winsock library?

Also internet explorer is 32 bit and 64 bit, I see it in task manager.

    What is Microsoft-CryptoAPI?

What is Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\Credential Manager\Add a Certificate-Based Credential click on open the certificate manager > trusted root certification authorities > cerificates and > Third-Pary Root Certification Authorities > certificates.
When using internet explorer and looking at wireshark i see alot of the certificates name/address above as host in wireshark when i click on a http protocol.

Do the name/address in the above have to do something with NetBios or Wins server.

Is it possible changing the settings or a new connection for internet can cause this. Before my applications was faster then upgrade internet and now only internet explorer is fast.
    examples: ppp, pppoe and pppoa.

What is term to define ppp, pppoe and pppoa? network protocol, network access????
