Enable "Trust Access to Visual Basic Project" for all users RRS feed

  • Question

  • i just built a new Server 2003 and have Office 2003 on there.  What I need to do is set it so that anyone who uses this server has the following option turned on in Word: Tools...Macro Security, Trusted Publishers, Trust access to Visual Basic Project.

    Anyone know how to do that?  Ideally i'd just to set it somewhere, so that way when anyone logs in, the setting is already enabled.

  • Hi,

    Try to use registry key for the setting of "Trust access to Visual Basic project".

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel\Security
    Value : AccessVBOM
    DWORD=1

    1: To check the checkbox
    0: To uncheck the checkbox

    Also, you can use group policy to configure this setting.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you very much for the info, I have been very useful.

    If you enable it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is enabled for all users.

    A greeting.
