  • Hi everybody, I am passing trought an issue like this.

    If I search contacts on Skype For Business Client Skype For Business 2016 MSO 16.0.8431 2110 32Bits it crashes and on event viewer it shows the error :

    Has Anyone passed for this issue and got the solution?

    1-Do you encounter this issue on all the computers?

    2-Did you try to repair Office on the affected computer?

  • Hi Simon!

    I have found this issue only with Skype For Business 2016 in all of my computers that is  running this version, with Lync 2013 it doesnt happen.

    About second question, yes I have just done as you can see in the picture attached.

    A new update has been released to Office 365 yesterday https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Version-and-build-numbers-of-update-channel-releases-ae942449-1fca-4484-898b-a933ea23def7

    Can you try to update and see if it solves the problem?

  • Hi Simon, unfortunately I have just updated to the latest build from February 13, 2018 Version 1801 (Build 9001.2171) and the same behavior happens when I search for a contact and click on that.

    Any other idea?

  • Hi Gustavo,

    I found this, please try it!

    1. Make sure the External and Internal Links for ALL Exchange Virtual directories are accurate
    2. Make sure the Proxy server (ARR 2.0) if applicable has a valid certificate with all the appropriate subject alternate names for the lync server.
    3. Make sure the Lync Edge server has a valid certificate with all the appropriate subject alternate names.
    4. reboot the client.
