Mediation server and NICs RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

The link: Capacity Planning Using the User Models contains table for the mediation server where is speaks about 4 x 1 GB NICs.

Question: are they all active or has it been made as two legs where both legs have Active/Passive NICs (meaning one 1GB/s NIC to PSTN and one 1 GB/s to Lync and both have own fail over NIC).

  • Hi,

Recommended to have teamed NIC with a single MAC address and single IP address.

    Thanks

  • An in this case you mean the two teams? As they speak about four NICs.
