  • Hi Guys

Been using APP-V 4.6  integrated with SCCM for several months now with little to no issues apart from flushing client cache etc. I’ve got one XP SP3 Pc which I cant get working and before I re-imaged I thought I’ll ask.

I’ve tried several user profiles, removed the APP-V client and SCCM agent…re-installed both, cleared cache and tried WMI repairs but as soon as you try to launch any virtual APP I get this error

An unexpected error occurred. Report the following error code to your System Administrator.

    Error code: 4604EE8-1F701119-00001001

Which I cant find anything on…any ideas ?

  • Are you using the Download/Execute model with SCCM or are you streaming from the distribution point?

  • Morning Steve

Stream from DP. I've tried going to Application Virtualization Client in control panel and select "load" to ensure 100% cache.

I've unloaded and reloaded several APPS all with the same launch error on this single PC ...everywhere else no issues.

  • This is only happening on one machine?

  • Do you use static IP addresses? If so is it possible that there's a conflicting IP address. Unfortunately this particular error message is pretty vague. The last time I got this was in a test environment I set up as I copied a VM and forgot to change the IP address to be unique...probably not the case here but thought I'd throw it out there.
