  • Hi Ben,

We found out that one of the view in that schedule had duplicate Views and tried to Delete one of them but was unable to do that, so we got to a conclusion that view might be one which is causing issue. So, we went a ahead and deleted that view from DB and the issue got resolved.

  • I've seen this because of security settings on MS Project, when trying to open a project that has a macro attached to it.  Try setting the security settings to low on MS Project.

This might of course be nothing to do with it, but it's worth trying.

  • Hi Ben,

Thank you for your quick reply. If this is case of permission then why is it opening for just one user not others.

  • Hi,

Please don't confuse Macro security settings with Permissions - they are different.  Macro security settings are per client, and the VBA could be stored in the Project.  Your one user who can open the Project might have different Macro security settings than everyone else.
