  • You need to create a new project first.  You add the metadata assembly to this project.

  • New Project -> Host Integration Projects -> Host Files. If this does not exist, you need to install HIS with the data providers. Once you have the project created, in Visual Studio in the Solution Explorer, right click the project, select Add Host File Library, Add. Give it a name. Your metadata assembly is then created. Open the 'dll', right click on that in the tree view, select import, Host Defination. The Cobol import wizard comes up.

  • Hi,

    I am able to do using below commands.

    devenv /installvstemplates

    devenv /setup

    in start menu->all programs->Microsoft Visual Studio 2010->Visual Studio Tools->Command Prompt
