Is there any way to speed up CSexport of MIIS ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are in MIIS migration project.

I backuped MIIS SQLDB and restored to MIIS test environment.

I tried to csexport some AD_MA which has about 22000 objects but it is incredibly slow.

MIIS test environment is 8 core CPU and 12 GB memory but,  it is very slow and CPU usage is also low(1%,2%) memory usage is high.(9.6GB) by task manager .

How could I improve that ?

  • A few factors can affect this...

    1. The network speed between the two servers
    2. Is SQL running locally on the FIM Server, if so the SQL instance may be consuming all the available memory.
    3. The specifications of the AD Controller you are exporting to.
    4. The indexing status of the MicrosoftIdentityIntegrationServer database tables
Please refer to Re-index MIIS & FIM Database tables for information on how
