ΙΕ 10 installation - curious problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I want to install IE10 on my pc (win 7)  but it keeps saying me this:

"Internet Explorer 10 is now installed

Some IE files were in use during setup. Restart your computer to use IE10"

Restart does nothing. I have nothing in my bin, neither nothing of IE in my programms - I had uninstalled the previous (native) version.

Do you have any ideas? Thank you

  • Hi xrarma,

According to IECUSTOMIZER’s steps, if the version is previous, please try to install it under Clean Boot:

How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the version is Microsoft Internet Explorer 10, please uninstall it:

Control Panel->Programs and Features->View installed updates, select "Windows Internet Explorer 10" and click "Uninstall" button.

    Then reinstall under Clean Boot.

    Best regards,
