Let me see if I have this right - measures are the attributes you want to "measure" about a particular entity which dont have attributes of their own. For example, orders of products. Orders have attributes that you want to measure,
such as order date and sales amount. The products associated with the order have attributes of their own, and these would be dimensions. The customers that order the products, also have attributes of their own. Again, the customer would be
a dimensions table.
I know this is a borad question, but what would be an example of when you would want to add a new fact table?
