Error message:"The user profile cannot be updated" RRS feed

  • I've never been confronted with this error message before - but its what I'm getting on a machine, now, whenever I click OK in SteadyState while making changes to a user account.  On this particular machine, I had uninstalled SteadyState (after unchecking everything)and then reinstalled the application.  Anybody faced with this issue before?

    Did this issue occur on all user accounts? Please create a new user profile to check the result.

     

    As the error messages can be caused by profile loading issue. We can perform the following suggestions to check the result:

     

    Suggestion 1: Disable Antivirus applications

     

    Suggestion 2: Install UPClean

    Download and install the UPHCLEAN tool on the terminal server to test this issue again. UPHClean monitors the computer while Windows is unloading user profiles and forces open resources to close. Therefore, the computer can unload and reconcile user profiles. This tool can be downloaded from the link below:
