Which version of SQL Server 2012 SP1 Express should I download and install?

Hello,
It depends on your requirements.
SQLEXPR_x64 is the plain database endine
SQLEXPRWT_x64 is the database engine + WT = with tools like SSMS = SQL Server Management Studio
SQLEXPRADV_64 is database engine + Tools + advanced services: Reporting Services + Fulltext IndexYou can download them here: Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 Express

Hi There,
Yes it depends on the requirement.
If you are hosting any application which requires Standard or Enterprise then that has to be installed.
If you application works with express then yes go ahead with Express edition.
Check with your application vendor what SQL versions are supported and recommended and which bit 32 or 64, As i saw some applications need 64 bit sql to work and they don't work with 32bit.

Your question is open ended so I cannot answer it, but if you want database engine and SSMS below should do fine
SQLManagementstudio_x64_ENU.exe and
SQLEXPR_X64_ENU.exe

I figured it out before seeing your answers and downloaded SQLEXPRADV_64.
Haven't yet installed it, though.
