Windows could not connect to the User Profile service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, a couple of times we have received the an error in the application log and after this point, users can no longer RDP into the server until we reboot the server.  Users are met with "Windows could not connect to the User Profile service" when trying to logon. We are using Windows Server 2008. This happens when I combine the Terminal Service Roles with Network Policy Server Role, DHCP Server Role and DNS Server Role... But when I split those roles everything back into a normal state... One more thing, I'm using virtual machine on this process and using two virtual network adapters inside...

I've already tried to removing all roles and create again those roles, reset using netsh winsock, restarting the user profile service, terminal server service, network policy server services, but sometimes the problems shows again...

Please help me for this case, thank you...
