I am attempting to access shared folders on my Windows 7 machine from Windows Media Center on a Vista laptop. Through Windows Explorer - Network, I am able to access the Windows 7 shared folders and their contents without any issue.
However, when I attempt to Add a folder to watch, it gives the following error message when the Vista Media Center performs it's scan:
Windows Media Center did not detect any shared folders on your network. Make sure that your network is working correctly and that your folders are shared. TIP: Go to the Network Center to make sure your network is set up correctly.
Any ideas how to make Vista Media Center recognize that there are shared folders on the Windows 7 machine?
