Custom Filter Error in Project Center RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

When I try to define a custom Filter in Project Center, I get, sometime, this error:

"One or more rows are invalid. Correct theses errors and try again"

    Anyone has faced this before?

    Gonzague.

  • Hi Gonzague,

I remember that if you are filtering on a field with a lookup table, you have to use the test "equals" ant not "contains" in order to avoid errors.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi Gonzague, did the filter worked before or is it a new filter? Can you post your configuration here?

  • It seems to work intermittently. Sometime it would work, sometime it would not.

    Custom Filter definition:

    Field Name: Project Department

    Test: Contains

    Value: XX

The error message would appear after pressing "OK".

  • Yes, I found that too (Test= equals). While the filter configuration screen doesn't offer dropdown selection of permissible values, it seems to be checking them in real time against the values in a lookup table. You'll see the "Valid" column turn to a green checkmark once you've got it right.

  • Thanks for the answer. Thanks

Yes, I wish for a "Drop Down" menu with the defined values.
