"Show computers" doens't work anymore in Network Vicinity Dashboard (After UR2??) RRS feed

    Hello All,

    I've deployed a SCOM 2012 SP1.

    It is a fairly simple deployment with 2 management servers and a dedicated remote SQL 2012 server.

    I use SCOM to monitor Windows Servers, Network devices, Linux servers as well as some clients.

    We used the Network Vicinity dashboard to know which computers are attached to which switches.

    It seems that after UR2 we are no longer to display computers on this dashboard.

    I've set the the view to include 4 hops and ticked the box next to Show computers, but still no computers are shown in the dashboard, only switches.

    Has anyone else experienced this behaviour after UR2?

    Hello Alex,

    It turns out that the network discovery rule didn't run anymore.

    Not even when triggering it manually.

    I deleted and recreated the rule.

    After that, the links between network devices and servers/computers was shown again.
