Printing .pcl files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    any help appreciated...

    I have around 2000 .pcl6 files that need printing ( long story )

    in powershell I use :

    lpr -S -P raw C:\10\pdl.pcl6

    problem I have is the next file is named 'pdl(1).pcl6' etc

    how could I specify a wildcard to print all .pcl6 files or is there a way to run a batch file that will run the first line then the next ?

  • "lpr" cannot use wildcards. It must be given simple file names.

    In PowerShell:

    Get-ChildItem C:\10\*.pcl6 |
        ForEach-Object{ lpr -S -P raw "$_" }
