    Hello!

We typically see this kind of problem when the 'Microsoft Client Security Update Assistant' is not running, or is running under an account that does not have permissions in SQL.

Can you check to see if this service is running on the Management Server, and what credentials it's starting under? If it's not using the DAS account, try changing the service to start up under the DAS account.

That service is responsible for parsing antimalware metadata and sticking that information into SQL so that it ultimately becomes visible in your override drop-down (among other places).

Please let me know if this helps.

  • Hi,

You need to add new malware threat override "RemoteAccess:Win23/RealVNC" and set it to allow in your policy.

  • As You can see in the picture, there is only 7 applications in the list. I can't choose VNC.

  • Hi,

Install this hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940060 and you will not need to create an override thread for VNC.
