  • Hi,

The member Unique Name and Display value are used when we use SSAS as the data source. When we link a Scorecard or a chart with a filter ideally we would select the "Member Unique Name" option in the filter. When we select this option the Report/scorecard values get filtered based on the Selection that you have made. Where as the "Display Value" just shows the value for the selection that you have made in the filter.

For Ex: If you have a report which displays the Sales of the Product info geograhy wise in which you have a geography as the filter and you rows and columns displays the product info

Scenario 1 : By using The Member Unique Name Property

If you have selected "United States" as the filter value, your reports would show the product info only for United sales

Scenario 2: By using the display Value

If you have selected the "United Sates" as the filter value , your report would diplay the United states Label and its value in the report body. No product information would be shown.
