Project Site: How to add a link to shedule RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

In the project site, there is no direct link to the project schedule.

How to add this link to the menu on the left of the project site?

    Thanks

    Gonzague.

  • Hello,

Where does the "Project Details" link navigate to?

  • If I click "Project Details", it will lead to a page where the schedule is.

I'm trying to save the user one click :-)

  • I'm not sure I understand - the link is already there in the left nav menu?

  • The schedule is available from this menu, when you click on the project site:

However, once you click on the "Project Site" Link, the schedule menu is not available, which force you to click project details and schedule again.

It would seems logical to add the schedule link here as well.

    Regards

    Gonzague.

  • Clicking on the Project Details link leads the user back to whichever PDP they were last on, before clicking to Project Site.

To add a direct link, you will need to get the Project UID, and link directly to the Schedule PDP, which might need some custom development.

Alternatively, you can directly add the "Schedule" webpart (called the Details webpart) into the Project Site.
