    Previously. Word 2013 would open with a list of documents on the left side of the screen.

    I can't recall what I did, but now on the left side it only has one recent document. It has a shortcut saying "Open Other Documents", but clicking on this takes me to a screen with this document. Under Open it says "Recent Documents", but clicking on it does nothing.

    How do I Get Word to open as it did previously?

    Click File | Options | Advanced. In the "Display" section, select "Quickly access this number of Recent Documents" and specify the number that you want.

    These "quick" documents will appear at the bottom left when you click the File tab.
