  • This forum is a good start, as it's a general repository for questions on SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2003, and SharePoint 2001.

If you are able to more specifically categorize your question according to the selected areas of the individual forums within the pre-SharePoint 2010 area, take a look at those forums in this list and consider placing it directly in one of them rather than this general one: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/sharepoint

Please don´t take what I´m about to say negatively but you need to temper your expectations realistically.  This is a free forum that´s staffed for the most part by the good will of volunteers.  Some threads can take a few days to gain a response, the 2007 forums aren´t as busy as they used to be.  There´s no SLA for the community to respond, but as a whole we are very useful.

  • Steven, Usually forum responses are pretty quick and I thought I posted in the wrong forum.  Did you get a chance to look at my question?  It is very simple in any other programming language but I am not able to understand how to hide a section which is in manifest.xnf.
