O365 FOPE TLS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I have read on this forum in other posts that all Office365 Enterprise plans include TLS FOPE encrypted email for all inbound/outbound e-mail.

My question is, specifically what TLS cipher strength does FOPE for O365 E1 plans utilize? I check message headers of e-mails I send and the TLS cipher strength is never "stamped" in the e-mail headers.

Usually other MTA's with TLS support stamp the TLS cipher strength in the headers with a string such as: (using TLSv1 with cipher DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits))

  • Thank you for that info, is it possible to have FOPE stamp the cipher suite it is utilizing in the headers of incoming/outgoing e-mails? If so how can I go about enabling this feature?
