Power Query/Salesforce Object query not loading all data RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am experiencing the same problem mentioned in the following two threads:

    I am using Office 365 ProPlus 64-bit version 16.0.6741.2071, and all updates have been applied. The threads above mention that this problem has been fixed in two previous updates, but it seems to keep resurfacing. Any plans for a more lasting fix?

  • Your query definitely references "Salesforce.Objects" and not "Salesforce.Reports"? And if so, are you getting truncated data or an error? If truncated data, is the size consistent?

  • Definitely referencing objects. It always returns between 120k and 130k rows, plus one error row. These exact queries worked in Excel 2013, and in some versions of 2016 since then. As noted above and in the linked posts, this issue has been fixed in previous updates, but subsequent updates break it again.

    In the model, the entire error row is blank. The error never loads when I try to view the error in the Query Editor window (clicking on "132,001 rows loaded. 1 error." in the Workbook Queries panel). It just shows me an empty window for several minutes, indicating that it is waiting for na5.salesforce.com in the lower right corner, and then returns a timeout error in the yellow bar at the top. Ex:

    DataSource.Error: The operation has timed out
    Details:
        https://na5.salesforce.com/services/data/v29.0/query/01g7000004YBsHkAAL-560000
