SBS 2008 to Exchange 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Currently, we have SBS 2008 Premium with Exchange 2007. We are planning to upgrade to 2 new hardware servers, first one will be 2008 R2 STD for AD, (DC FMSO Roles, DNS, DHCP, GP, etc.) and the second one will be 2008 R2 STD with Exchange 2010 Server.
    What is the best way to migrate?
    Please let me know if you have any questions or need any more explaination.
    Thanks in advance! <!-- <<< -->

  • Currently, there’s no official document for the migration from SBS 2008 to the exchange 2010 with a windows server2008

    You can refer the articles below to add the exchange 2010 servers into the domain

  • Best way is to use a 3rd party tool. The Priasoft Migration Suite for Exchange support all versions of SBS to Exchange 2000, 2003, 2007, or 2010.

  • Hi MH -

    Just wondering how you made out with this migration - I am looking at a very similar migration - SBS 2008 to Exchange 2013 ... on two new servers - just wondering how your migration went?
