Using Table Input Panel for Chinese language RRS feed

  • Question

  • From what I read Window 7 Ultimate 64-bit version supports entering Chinese character via the Tablet PC Input Panel (TIP). But I couldn't do that from my new ASUS EP121 Slate (with all the latest Windows 7 updates).

The best I could do is to use the IME pad for input. Even that there seems to be problem as indicated in other postings. When I try to switch to TIP I was told "Writing Pad not available for the language selected. Any advise?

  • Hi,

I have tried this on my personal computer and have not encountered the issue, I assume that this is caused by the language layout which you are using is not supported by the Tablet Imput Panel. So I recommend to add a built-in language layout for a test.

    Thanks.
