connecting to the exchange issues with outlook RRS feed

  • Hi,

    so we are getting some weird issues on some client machines regarding outlook, it only connects when in Cached Exchange mode, if you are out of CEM you try and open outlook and it throws up this error

    "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook, Cannot open the Outlook Windows, The set of folders cannot be opened. The attempt to log onto the Microsoft Exchange has Failed"

    Some people need to manually click update folder for emails to come in, others just cant access the address book etc


    I've re profiled many, still issues stands after that, is something stand out that is affecting this, possibly mailstore related?

    Does Outlook start in online Exchange mode when starting with outlook /safe switch?

    We may also try staring Outlook with the /resetnavpane switch to see the result.

    In addition, if you are Office 365 for Business user, please also try fixing the issue with our automated tool:
