Multiple NIC's RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible for DPM to use multiple NIC's for the same subnet. I have a 8 node cluster (SAN attached) which consistantly saturates the network link on the DPM server. The disk array is ableto keep up with no problems and I would like to be able to use both NIC's on the DPM box at once?

    Cheers

  • Can you team the two NIC's?
    That would be working

Another option is to start working with a "backup" vlan and configure DPM to use that network

  • I was sorta hoping to avoid setting up switch assisted load balancing for the team (being a bit lazy I guess) but its probably the right way to go.
