    The guide for this management pack seems very straight forward.  As a whole this management pack is very lacking in terms of visual representation, object discoveries and other areas to say the least.

    My first question is if there is a plan to improve this management pack?

    Second, does anyone have any experience customizing an Operations Manager 2007 environment to monitor MOSS 2007 instances that are not farms.

    I can answer the first question.  No, there are no plans to do any further work on the 2007 SharePoint/Moss management packs.  Genearlly, management packs get developed for new products and once a team has moved on to a new version, the old version becomes feature complete in as far as what you see is what you get.

    The SharePoint 2010 MP is much richer in terms of coverage.
