RDS Windows Server 2019 - OSX clients can't connect RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a new RDSH setup based on Windows Server 2019. Windows clients and HTML5 works just fine - but can't get any OSX clients to work.

There are 2 servers that holds the web access and gateway role. They are placed behind an Azure Application Gateway.

I have tried with several remote desktop clients on different OSX machines - all fails - even the app from Microsoft. Most fails on login - the Microsoft app fails with error code 0x3000064.

I am not sure if the issue is related to the application gateway or something hasn't been setup correctly on the RDS gateway. We use a wildcard public SSL certificate.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

    1. We have tried with several OS X clients - some with quite old version, but also with the latest Catalina.

    2. I am not sure if that is a question :)

    3. Yes, we have tried with the latest Remote Desktop for Mac client.

  • It's only a full desktop - we don't use remote apps.

As mentioned in the topic - HTML5 works just fine.

It's access through the Remote Desktop client on OSX, that doesn't work.

    It doesn't help.

Also, since this is a issue with the RDP client I don't think the web client is relevant in this situation.
