Itunes 12.8 download from microsoft site will not recognize my ipod RRS feed

    Prior to downloading the current version of iTunes (12.8) from the Microsoft store, iTunes DID recognize my ipod...now it does not.  I have researched this issue online, and keep coming up with a problem with Apple Mobile Device Support Driver -- it is not listed in my Services, nor in programs to uninstall...l I've followed all instructions on how/where to find it, and it is nowhere. I have also changed usb cords, and tried in different ports. When I run diagnostics within iTunes, iTunes says Apple Mobile Device is running, but no ipod found. Is there a fix for this missing Apple Mobile Device Support Driver? And let me be clear, it is missing...

    Hi sherij.

    There are several feedbacks related to iTunes (which is developed by Apple, not by Microsoft) on the Microsoft Store that state that the app fails to detect Apple devices: many users have recommended to use the classic iTunes Windows desktop application available at https://www.apple.com/lae/itunes/.
