  • Question

  • When creating a New Skype Meeting in outlook

The meeting request appears with “Find a local number” which is confusing for our clients because we only have one number for Dial-In conferencing

Is there a way to prevent “Find a local number” from appearing the meeting request?

  • Hi Jexo,

Find a local number in skype meeting is a page that contains a list of local and/or international phone numbers that you can use to dial in to a meeting. These numbers are registered to your company and managed by your organization's admin.

For your situation, if you want to dial in a conference, you can click “find a local number” and find the number of your region, then dial this number with your phone, then according to the prompts, dial in to the Skype meeting.

Generally, you can configure the meeting invitation in SFB 2015 with the following four things:
    1. Your organization’s logo
    2. A Custom Help or Support Link
    3. Legal disclaimer text
    4. Custom footer text

There’s no method to remove the option “Find a local number” in skype meeting invitation, if you want to delete this information, you can post a case on Lync SDK and there are more developing experts will help to develop it.
