It's posted before.. but no reaction.. This one is pretty annoying.. What can we do about it?
When I went to turn on a new feature in vista ultimate today, the dialog box that pops up and shows you the list of features you can choose from is empty. It displays please wait for a few seconds and then nothing. I also noticed that when I go to the add remove programs sections and try to remove windows updates that were install on my system, the list of installed updates is empty even though a few updates were installed. Not sure if these are related, but has anyone had this issue. How do I get these lists to show up again?
I found a post on something similar but the solution did not work, the registry key was not found. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931712/en-us
