How to restrict domain users to use only biometric in GPO for windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We want to restrict domain users to use only biometric login in GPO for windows 10, users should not be allowed to enter password, they can use only biometric login finger print, is it possible to do it in GPO for all domain users?

We have Domain Server 2016 and clients have Windows 10 64bit

    Thanks,

    Agha

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your post.

According to my knowledge, we could not restrict domain users to enter password and only use biometric login.

And when we enable biometric login, we need to enable PIN login related policies. Domain users would need to use PIN password.

Thanks for your support and understanding.

    Best Regards,

    Kallen

  • Thanks,

We have three options  in sign in 1. enter domain password, 2. use finger print and 3. use pin code so we want to block  1st one enter domain password because we don't want any other user to login on others machine from their domain user id except administrators. so users can login on their PC only using biometric or pin code.

    Regards,

    Agha
