Bulk Set user can be assigned as a resource RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

. I have sycnchronized users from Active Directory and now I want to set "user can be assigned as a resource" for 280 users. Is there a way doing this job in a bulk?

    Thanks

If you want to use Active Directory synchronization, you have to set up the sync routines in two locations.  It sounds like you set up AD sync with your Project Server groups, but that you did not set up AD sync with the Enterprise Resource Pool, which would automatically check the User Can Be Assigned As a Resource option.  To set up AD sync for the Enterprise Resource Pool, do the following:

    1.  Log into PWA with administrator permissions.
    2.  Click Server Settings > Active Directory Resource Pool Synchronization.
    3.  Set up your AD sync routine and then click the Save button.

    Hope this helps.
