Resources in Exchange 2016 don't respond to meeting requests from Skype for Business Online RRS feed

  • Question

  • When scheduling a Skype for Business meeting between an account that has been migrated to Office 365 and a resource account that is still on premises, users are not receiving the automatic 'Accept' or 'Deny' from the room. The room account calendar is not updating as well.  The calendar remains blank. Is there a configuration that i am missing somewhere?

  • Hi Krafcky,

Did you set the room delegate?

You can run “get-messagetrackinglog”,check this room mailbox if it sent the Receipt mail.also run the get-calendarprocessing | fl  to view the calendar processing options for resource mailboxes.

You could open a new account that been migrated to Office 365 and a resource account that is still on premises, check the issue if it is normal.

Check the exchange online users or on-premise users purity if they have this problem

  • Hello,

Thank you for your reply.  The room account successfully sent 'Accept' or 'Deny' responses when the users Exchange account was located on premises.  Only when the account was moved to Office 365, did the issue start.  Maybe this questions should be directed to someone in the Exchange forum instead?  Please let me know.

    Thanks
