Creating customized report in MS Project Professional 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am new to customizing reports and I am attempting to create a customized report in MS Project Professional 2010 that would show me all tasks that are greater than 5 business days late.  I thought that I could perhaps create a filter that would select those tasks where the finish variance was greater than 5 days?  I believe the finish variance is a text field so would I have to move the variance to a number field first so I could do this?  Is there a easier way to do this which I am overlooking?  Any help pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated. Thx.

The Finish Variance field is a duration field, not a text field. The filter you want should be as simple as,

    And/Or Field Name Test Value

Finish Variance is greater than 5d

    Hope this helps.
