    Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, check "Use Software rendering instead of GPU rendering".

    Save changes.

    Reboot your computer for the full changes to take affect.

    If possible include links to problem websites with your questions. Most crashes in IE are caused by Plugins (like Flash) or browser Addons. Some websites may be using older versions.
