IE 8 interruption on Windows 7 RRS feed

    hi windows community,

    since I installed windows 7 RC on my Notebook I sporaticly have some problems with my internet connection.  I using IE8 and when switching between the websites, there is about every 15 minutes a lost of connection error. my homenetwork is fine and in july on vista there was no problems with IE8.
    may be that is a usual problem. Pls.,can anybody assist in this matter.

    Hello Enrico,

    At this time we would normally review a network or fiddler trace of the client to see why we are getting errors. If you have such a trace available we could take a quick look. The current version of Fiddler is available for download here. Please try these next steps as well to try and isolate the cause of the problem.


    1. Run Internet Explorer 8 underneath "Compatibility View".
    2. Run Internet Explorer 8 without add-ons ( iexplore.exe -extoff ).
    3. Test the website navigation from another Windows 7 machine or Vista machine running Internet Explorer 8.0.

    What sort of connection problems are you seeing specifically? Also, please post back the error message shown in Internet Explorer window after "Show Friendly HTTP Error Messages" is unchecked ( Tools | Internet Options | Advanced ).

    • Der Domänennamenserver (DNS) ist nicht erreichbar.
    • Der Domänennamenserver (DNS) verfügt über keinen Eintrag für die Domäne der Website.
    • Die Adresse enthält eventuell einen Tippfehler.
    • Wenn dies eine (sichere) HTTPS-Adresse ist, dann klicken Sie auf "Extras", "Internetoptionen", "Erweitert" und stellen Sie sicher, dass die SSL- und TLS-Protokolle im Sicherheitsabschnitt aktiviert sind.


    the Fiddler told me while downloading fsx sp1 after 2 minutes the following:

    TLS 1.1 and 1.2 are ticked / marked in the advanced menu.

    Hi

    Thank you for your post.

    You need to install the update that addresses certain application compatibility and reliability issues of Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7.

    RESOLUTION
    To immediately install the update, click Start , point to All Programs , and then click Windows Update . In the navigation pane, click Check for updates , and then follow the steps to install all recommended updates.

    On an additional note you have to restart the computer after you apply this update.

    I also run the IE8 while downloading without add-ons - Error message: The server connection was reseted and downloads are impossible.

    i did install all required (important & recomended) updates and checked for new ones.

    The 3 below mentioned Updates are installed:

    Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows 7 Release Candidate (KB972260)

    Installationsstatus: Erfolgreich


    There still problems and cut-outs on the IE 8 when downloading staff (Error: Server connection was reseted ) and when switching over to the
    next page.
