Access 2016 Display Custom Toolbars as Menus RRS feed

  • Question

  • An Access 2003 application with forms that display custom toolbars with menu selections, the menus are always visible when the forms are open. Each menu item has several menu command buttons which display when its higher level menu is selected. These sub level command buttons call vb code to execute.

The application has been converted to Access 2016 and the menus are stored as a Custom Toolbar and execute properly when used. However, the tool bar does not stay visible for ease of use when working with the open form as it did in the 2003 version. How can I keep the menus visible without having to click the Custom Toolbars icon which I added to the ribbon?
