Single master page for multiple aspx pages in SharePoint RRS feed

  • Hi Friends,

    I have "N" number of aspx pages.I want only one custom master page for all the pages in SharePoint.How can I do this?

    Please can anyone help me.

  • All SharePoint pages use a single master page by default.  Here's an article on how to change the master page used by a site in SharePoint.

    Note: This assumes that the Publishing feature has been enabled.  You can still do it if publishing hasn't been enabled, but that would require using PowerShell or custom code to change the master page setting of the web site.

    I have individual pages I want apply custom master page using visual studio.How can I do?whether I need to loop all the pages then I can apply the master page?

  • You apply a master page to an aspx page the same way you do in asp.net.  reference the specific master page you want to use in the @Page declaration at the top of the page.
