How can we allow a receptionist to have the ability to go in and change call forwarding/status options for users who are out sick, stuck in traffic, etc?Friday, October 21, 2011 3:25 PM

Hi,
Unless receptionist login using the absence users credentials and make the cange, it's not possible. The deligation means that, you assign another user to answer his/her calls on behalf of him/her.
The deligated user doesnot have the control of the user who daligate the call. Hope it's clear.

The following scenarios are recommended in a standard receptionist deployment.
· Response Group application
· Sorting search results by last name
· Reporting a malicious call
· Parking a call
· Location services for Enhanced 9-1-1 (E9-1-1)
