Restoring the Recycle Bin RRS feed

  • Question

  • I accidentally deleted my Recycle Bin on my desktop when I meant to empty the files.  Now I can't find the file or locate it on my computer. How do I retrieve the icon again? replace it? find it?

  • Right-click a blank area of the Desktop & select 'Personalize'.

In the 'Tasks' pane (left-hand side), select 'Change Desktop Icons'.

Check the box next to 'Recycle Bin' & click 'OK'.
