  • Hi,

You can download and use PCMoer express from Laplink.

"We've worked with Laplink to provide you with a free data transfer. Laplink PCmover Express for Windows XP is an easy way to move your files, settings and user profiles from your old Windows XP computer to your new Windows PC.*"

  • Hi,

As I know, easy transfer is desigend for Windows 7 upgrade and it cannot be applied to Windwos 10 upgrade.

Download the windows ADK for your version of windows and use the USER STATE MIGRATION TOOL

  • The OP has already installed Windows 10 and now wants to know how he can get his Windows 7 information extracted by Windows 7 Easy Transfer into his Windows 10 installation.

From the OP: "have transferred files via easy transfer onto hard drive and cannot now download onto windows 10, since easy transfer is not there now. What are my options?"

  • Hi,

Yes, since there is no easy trasnfer on Windows 10, there is no entry to use that for data transmission
