windows live mail RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an HP desktop 6months old that had windows vista.  I upgraded to windows 7 last week.  When I started it for the first time my windows mail was missing.  I downloaded windows live mail and connected my comcast mail account (primary) and an aol and 2 gmail accounts.  It worked fine for a week.  Today I cannot send or receive email.  Comcast says my e-mail connection is fine.  I have an old (2002) version of office for students and teachers.  What do I have to do to get my email to work.  Would upgrading to a new version of office help me?

  • Hi,

I suggest you temporary disable the anti-virus and firewall and then check the result. If the issue does not occur you may need to configure the security programs to trust Windows Live Mail. If the issue still occurs, I suspect that there are incorrect settings, or corrupt components in Windows Live Email. I suggest you discuss this issue in our Windows Live forum.
