Saving all outlook attachments (of all emails) to one place like onedrive or desktop RRS feed

  • Question

  • One of my users wants me to save all attachments from his outlook to a drive. It means he is having thousand of emails which will have approximate 6000 attachments. Is there a crawler type program which can help me in doing the job of scanning outlook for attachments and saving them to desktop.  The tricky part over here is there might be many attachments with the same file name.

I would appreciate if anyone can point me in right direction.

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

There is no such a built-in option in Outlook to do this. As here we mainly focus on issues regarding Outlook client, I'm not familiar with any third-party software.

According to my research, this could be realized via VBA code. You could refer to the details in this link.
