EVENT LOG on (Set time automatically -changed time by automatically). RRS feed

Answers

  • Hi,

Based on my test, if I manually open “Set time zone automatically”, Event ID 7040 will be logged. The description for this event is: The start type of the Auto Time Zone Updater service was changed from disabled to demand start.

Meanwhile, if we turn off “Set time zone automatically”, Event ID 7040 will be also recorded. The description is: The start type of the Auto Time Zone Updater service was changed from demand start to disabled.

    Hope the information helps.

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,

    Otto Wang

  • Good Day!, Event id if you "manually" clicked the set automatically button. see attached image. or if the system updated itself to the current time based on my settings, would be great if there is a event id and what category on the event viewer.
