how to identify who published the projects? RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi every one,

I faced a problem which don't know how to figure out

based on our policies in the company project managers don't have permission to publish projects they can just save them.

specialist in PMO have to published the projects.

now there was a new project which is published 4 days ago. now PMO says they didn't publish.

I am going to find out the last person who published the project. how can I do that?

    thanks

  • Hi,

You can go to Server Settings-->Manage Queue Jobs, the owner field will give you the name of the user that last performed the activity.

You can have filter by project and different job states.

  • Syed:

The owner is the owner, not necessarily the last person to publish. Unfortunately this information is not stored in the system.

  • I think that you can only find this information somewhere in the DB tables.

There is a table giving information about last saved, last published, last access, and i guess it also has the information about user name or id.

But you need SQL server access to the db.
