  Hi Colin,

  Could you please elaborate what do you exactly mean by "Word is saying 'repair in system'"?
  Do you mean a particular document cannot be opened or the Word application won't start?
  What's the entire error message?

  If you are encountering issue when starting Word, please try to repair Office suite via Control Panel. For detailed instructions, you may refer to the following article:
