"Not Enough Space on OneDrive" message when copy files FROM OneDrive to external hard drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to copy all my pictures off of my hard drive onto a 4T external hard drive.  I have very little disk space remaining on my hard drive.  I am coping FROM my C hard drive TO an external hard drive with 3tb of space.  When I try this I get an "Interrupted Action" error reading:  "There is not enough space on OneDrive.  You need an additional 7.52 GB to copy these files".    What?   Why would anyone care how much space I have on the FROM location?  This is a brand new, out of the box, WD 4TB external hard drive.   What am I doing wrong?  Is this a bug?  How do I get around it?
